AI meeting facilitators actively participate in leading a meeting. They direct, observe, interpret, and intervene in the group's process while the meeting is underway. They may help establish and manage the agenda, keep discussions on track, manage time and participation, prompt the group, ask questions, support decisions, and move the group toward its intended outcomes.
Emerging category: This is a new and rapidly developing class of meeting technology. The first working products are now available, while others remain in beta or early development. We have not yet seen a mature field of proven standalone products.
Available and Emerging as of Oct 2026
- Microsoft Teams Facilitator — a shared AI meeting agent that manages agendas and timing, tracks progress, interacts with participants, and captures decisions and tasks during Teams meetings.
- TriLuna — an AI meeting facilitator in beta that manages turn-taking, time, participation, prompts, and meeting structure, with several levels of intervention.
- VoxeNova — an AI facilitator and project intelligence system that keeps meetings on agenda, asks clarifying questions, and structures decisions, risks, requirements, and actions as the conversation unfolds.
- Zed — a specialized voice AI facilitator for structured talent conversations such as performance reviews, stay interviews, onboarding, and development conversations.
What we're watching
Several other approaches are emerging around AI facilitation. Some products aim to take the facilitator role directly, while others act as co-facilitators that advise a human facilitator during the session.
- Facilitable — an AI facilitator for recurring group meetings currently in early development. The proposed product would manage time and participation, remember prior agreements, ask questions, and challenge groups when needed.
- GroupMap Atlas — an AI co-facilitator that privately summarizes participant input, identifies patterns, and suggests questions and next actions to the human facilitator during live GroupMap sessions.
