Description of the Template and Guide
This meeting agenda template is part of a strategic planning process designed specifically for use with remote participants. This process walks remote teams through creation of the core elements of a strategic plan: vision, mission, values, goals and strategies, resulting in what we call The Essential Strategic Plan.
An mission statement reinforces your organization’s identity; it communicates your core business, helping people inside and out understand what you do, for who, how. Your team can draft a mission statement in about an hour, using this simple meeting process.
During this meeting, you'll lead the group through an exploration of what makes up a good mission statement. Then, you'll brainstorm the concepts to include in your mission statement and write a draft that can be used in creation of the final mission statement for your strategic plan.
