Description of the Template and Guide
This meeting agenda template is part of a strategic planning process designed specifically for use with remote participants. This process walks remote teams through creation of the core elements of a strategic plan: vision, mission, values, goals and strategies, resulting in what we call The Essential Strategic Plan.
Organizational values define what matters to your organization, and what you stand for, collectively. Values communicate what people inside and outside your organization can expect, and as such, they reinforce your brand. Your team can draft a set of organizational values in about an hour, using this simple meeting process.
During this meeting, you'll lead the group through an exploration of how organizations publish and use value statements. Then, you'll brainstorm the concepts to include in your organizational values and write a draft that can be used in creation of the final version for your strategic plan.
